Shameful. Humiliating. Embarrassing. Take your pick because every one of those words applies. That is what losers do. They bask in the reflected glory of people who actually earned something. Donald once again managed to make somebody else’s triumph about himself. Thank you, once again, for humiliating America on the world stage. [But is it possible to embarrass Trump himself?]

Finally . . .

I seems that bloggers and Substackers are part of the ‘creator community’. Nice to know. But it’d be even nicer if I’d made any money from my blog in 25 years. Which reminds me of how I laughed when in the early days, a Spanish reader accused me of being provocative – maybe about roundabouts – so as to generate more readers and, thus, great ad revenue. In fact, I pay WordPress to use their platform. Maybe I should add a Buy me a coffee button . . .
