Trumpisms

Vance wouldn’t be booed in the USA. [So much for being in touch with public sentiment. ]

Mexico

After it was reported that he’d dropped an earlier demand for a $200m, Trump posted: Harvard fed a lot of nonsense to the New York Times. So, we are now seeking One Billion Dollars in damages, and want nothing further to do, into the future, with Harvard University. [I’m expecting a billion dollar suit any day now.]

Trump’s long-standing racism

England’s oldest psychiatric institution was founded in 1247, at the Priory of St. Mary of Bethlehem. Over the centuries, ‘Bethlehem’ transmuted into ‘Bedlam’ – which came to mean chaos or madness. In the 17th and 18th centuries, you could pay to gawk at the chained lunatics in the asylum. I mention this because reading Trump’s posts struck me today as the 21st century equivalent – observing a madman ranting in a (albeit gilded) cage. It says a lot about the USA that it can’t stop this 2-way cruelty. Or won’t.

Trump’s Sycophants

The other obvious madman in the administration – Robert Kennedy Jr – has mis-cited the results of a clinical trial of a specialist – Dr Palmer – who theorises that the fundamental cause all mental conditions is weak mitochondria in the brain. I know about this as I have a daughter diagnosed as bipolar and I read Dr Palmer’s book – Brain Energy – 2 years ago.

Looking at Trump’s Cabinet, the title of another book springs to mind – A Confederacy of Dunces. A phrase coined by Jonathan Swift to describe shallow thinkers. Would that they were all merely shallow, not insane!

  1. La comparación de Trump con los enfermos psiquiátricos en los manicomios que la gente iba a ver en esos siglos, lo representa bien.

Él negará siempre a la ciencia.
