It’s reported that Trump called an emergency/panic meeting to discuss how to recover from their disasters in Minneapolis. Allegedly, Stephen Miller wasn’t included. If true, this must count as good news.

Another disfavoured member of the criminal cabal is Kristi Noem, who’s been downgraded by the sending of Tom Homan – the ‘Border Tsar – as the person to calm troubled waters in Minneapolis, a man accused by the FBI of criminal bribe-taking.

Noem also faces an attempt to impeach her by the Democrats if Trump fails to sack her. Meanwhile, she’s reportedly claimed she only issued her egregious lies about Alex Petti on the instructions of Trump and Miller. If so, she’s surely living on borrowed time. [BTW: I laughed at the description of Noem as ‘a woman who has never met a crime scene she couldn’t match her lipstick to’].

Other bits of good news:-

• The Nazi cos-player – Gregory Bovino [Italian for ‘bovine’?] – has been recalled and put out to seed.
• Attempts to set up ICE processing/detention centres (i. e. prisons) around the country are meeting fierce local resistance.
• The majority of Americans are said to want to see ICE abolished.
• The Minnesota governor has put the National Guard on the streets of Minnesota

Recent Trumpian lies/lunacies/fantasies

• The protesters are paid agitators and insurrectionists.
• I ended 8 wars. I do it almost by second nature, you know. I just know how to do it.
• Gregory Bovino hasn’t been pulled back. It’s just a small change.
• Presidents always face midterm losses. It doesn’t make sense. Especially now.
• Governor Walz is guilty of inciting insurrection and local officials have failed to protect ICE agents.
• I’ve had very good calls with the Minnesota governor and the Minneapolis mayor. We are working closely together now.
