The madness of King Donald [I thought Americans knew how to respond to mad monarchs but apparently not. . ]

• Trump has had one side of the DoJ building covered with a huge portrait of his face. [Unless this is fake news].
• Reverting to a practice of his real-estate days – have they ever ended? – Trump called a radio station claiming to be ‘John Barron’ and hurling abuse at the Supreme Court judges. [Does he really not realise his voice is now know to billions?]
• He’s announced plans to deploy a hospital ship off the coast of Greenland because ‘a lot of people are getting sick there and aren’t receiving proper care’. Coincidentally, this follows the evacuation of a sick crew member of a US submarine off the Greenland coast. Denmark, of course, has ridiculed this idea.
• Dr. John Gartner, a psychologist and psychotherapist [and of the Shrinking Trump podcast] discusses here the unfurling of a massive banner on the DoJ building. Gartner argues that this is another sign of Trump slipping further into dementia and possibly experiencing “sundowning.” He notes Trump’s seemingly disinhibited behavior and his inability to control his sleep.
